Frank talk about comorbidities

I don't talk about it very much, but a lot of my goals for George during these two years are social ones that have been difficult for him to meet due to some of the comorbidities commonly associated with Tourette Syndrome.

Acute anxiety and obsessive compulsive disorder have limited George's ability to withstand, much less enjoy, games of skill and/or chance.

I'm too exhausted to go into the miniscule baby steps I have undertaken over the course of the last 12 months to get us here, but let the record show that today George played two rounds of miniature golf* with no outward anxiety whatsoever.

There was one moment of trepidation when I suggested we allow two speed demon teenagers to play through (unforeseen possibility and so alarming to him), but he quickly accepted my recommendation and was able to forget it almost immediately.

This is HUGE.

*Yes, it was raining. Rain, shmain, we were ready for this.

Congrats. This must all be very gratifying to both of you (though a HUGE undertaking on your part).

High marks on the Jughead hat above!
