Des Fleurs

Today's highlight was a unit on flower anatomy and pollination, followed by the examination of two buds from our magnolia tree.

To check his comprehension, I had George complete the worksheets from here, and I was beyond pleased that the only help he needed was with reducing the fractions. He was able to change fractions into percentages fluidly, as well as complete the pie chart accurately without even a prompt to note that each wedge was 5%. (Math is the main academic area in which he continues to struggle.)
