George prefers his history accurate, animals obscure, costumes ornate, and holidays celebrated. He has a wide streak of humor, a deep love of family, and a strong affinity for purple. He also has Tourette syndrome. While George enjoyed many years at our superb local elementary school, for the next two years he will explore his love of learning at home. This website will serve as an occasional showcase of what we cover. Thoughtful recommendations and reflections welcome.

Currently showing at the George Science Museum
Why yes, we aregrowing an onion! And a potato! When they flower, we'll draw them and label them, just as we've done with the purple tulips. And we are very excited for this spring, when we'll be growing milkweed, thanks to our friend Mr. Doug.
I suspect George might be a better horticulturist than mom.
